Rev. Micah Brown
Rev. Micah Cordell Brown came to Grace February 14, 2006 as the Minister to Students. Micah and his family came to us from his home town in Danville, KY. Micah has served as Minster to Students and as a Student rally speaker on different levels for the past 7 years. Micah came to know Christ as his personal savior at First Baptist Church in Liberty, Ky when he was 7 years old. Micah continued to be discipled and ministered to at First Baptist Liberty, Ky and became very involved at Calvary Baptist Church in Danville, KY after he moved there at the age of 13. After high school Micah did some undergraduate work at Cumberland College where he received a football scholarship. Later he moved on to Campbellsville University where he did some work in educational ministries. Micah met his wife in Indianapolis, In while attending a fishing show. Micah’s wife, Pam, is from Flint, MI and they were married September 16, 2000. Micah and his wife have a son, Hunter Micah Brown, who was born April 3, 2006. Micah has a deep passion for students and for reaching them for Jesus Christ. Micah’s experiences have led him to believe that this is a time that calls for the utmost in creativity when trying to minister to students. Micah’s desire at Grace is to create fresh, cutting edge methods to reach the students of Tullahoma, TN like never before, and to grow them spiritually so that they are prepared to reproduce what God has done in their lives. Micah 6:8 “He has showed you oh man, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” |
