Rev. Michael W. Brown
Michael
and his family moved to Tullahoma in September of 2002 to serve as
Grace's Music and Worship Pastor. Michael has been in the ministry
since 1989 serving churches in California, East Tennessee,
Mississippi and Arkansas.
Michael's hometown is Columbus, Mississippi where he came to know
Christ as his personal Savior at First Baptist Church. It was
through Vacation Bible School during Michael's sixth grade year that
the truth of God's plan of salvation was understood. Michael
continued to be involved in and discipled through the ministry of
First Baptist Church of Columbus. Following high school, Michael
went to Mississippi State University and received a Music Education
degree in 1986. It was during college that Michael felt God's call
to the ministry. A Masters of Music was earned from Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth in 1989.
Michael met his wife Melinda through church when they were teenagers
in Mississippi. Following college graduation they were married on
June 20, 1987. Their four children are Meagan, Mark, Macy and
Matthew.
Through his various ministry experiences over the years, Michael has
discovered that worship is not determined by style or personal
preferences but by God's Spirit drawing the hearts of the
worshippers to His heart. Michael's desire for ministry at Grace
Baptist Church is to encourage and lead others to worship and to
experience God's presence in a fresh and personal way.

Rock of our salvation." Psalm 95:1 |
