Rev. Timothy Alan McGehee
Rev.
Timothy Alan McGehee began his tenure as pastor on October 28, 2001.
He received a B.S. degree from Belmont University, Nashville,
Tennessee, in 1987 and received a Master of Divinity from
Southwestern Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, in 1991.
Growing up in a Southern Baptist pastor's home, he is now a third
generation Baptist preacher (both his grandfather and father were
Baptist preachers.). When he was seven years old, he came to know
Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and nine years later surrendered to
the ministry. God has prepared Bro. Tim for this task by enabling him
to attend a Baptist College and Seminary. Since then, God has
blessed him with a wonderful Christian wife, Kim, and children,
Hannah Jo and Katie Beth.
Rev. McGehee is a Bible believing, conservative Christian, loyal to
all Southern Baptist Convention programs and causes. It is his
desire that while our mission is to reach people for Christ and
teach them to be productive members in the family of God, that we
will hopefully do this by helping Christians identify their
spiritual gifts and learn how to use them for God's glory. |
