How great is our God who chooses to bless others through the ministries of His local churches, and how grateful I am to be the pastor of this fellowship of believers here at Grace Baptist Church. There’s a song I like to sing that goes like this: I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God. I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood! Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod; for I’m part of the family, the family of God.

One of the most valuable resources any of us can lay claim to, is that group of people that love us—called the church. And one of the tasks God has assigned to the church is that of reaching out and ministering to those around us. We are indeed as the song says, “a family.” There are brothers and sisters of this church whom God has placed here so that they can be a blessing to you. But just as important, there are folks that God has placed at Grace so that you can be a blessing to them. So please be active and faithful to your church, take part in our activities, and be seek to be a blessing to those around you.
